Tori Spelling Owes Nearly A Million Dollars in Taxes

Tori Spelling and her husband Dean McDermott have been hit with a $707,487.30 tax lien for unpaid taxes from 2014. And that’s just the federal taxes, the couple also owes the state of California $259,108.23 in state taxes.  Just a few months ago we told you about Tori’s financial problems, that included an unpaid American Express bill of $37,981.97. She tried to make a $1,000 payment on the card, but the payment bounced. Even with mom Candy’s help, paying for the house, groceries, and school for their kids, the family is drowning in debt. A few years ago, before the debt had mounted so high, Tori said this “It’s not my fault I’m an uptown girl stuck in a midtown life. I was raised in opulence. My standards are ridiculously high. We can’t afford that lifestyle, but when you grow up silver spoon it’s hard to go plastic.” It’s hard to feel sympathetic, when it seems her only problem is self-control. It might be time to hire a financial planner Tori. Get more here.

Gwyneth Paltrow is Consciously Uncoupling from Goop

Everyone knows about Gwyneth Paltrow’s upscale, yuppy, “lifestyle” site, Goop. We talk about it a lot, mostly because it features such ridiculous things. Gwyn started the site back in 2008, but now wants to separate from it. Gwyn was onstage at the Sage Summit last week, when she said “In order to build the brand I want to build, its scalability is limited if I connect to it. So I always think: ‘How can I grow the brand? How can I separate myself from the brand?’ and I think it’s going to be more its own brand. My dream is that one day no one will remember that I had anything to do with it.” Get more here.

He was frustrated with the crew, and then someone asked him about Kylie. He said, quote, “Yeah, I like Kylie, I like everybody . . . sorry guys, I cannot do this anymore. You are talking to a guy who’s very rough, you know? . . .The press, they’ve been asking me the same questions for the last 25 years. ‘Kylie?’ ‘How’s your training?’ ‘How’s your this? How’s your that? . . . I’m coming to Australia to maybe do something kind of different with the audience.” Then, he ripped off his mic and walked out of the interview. As he walked off, he said, quote, “What the [eff] is going on with Australia? What the [eff] is going on? I cannot do this. I’m too natural.” The interview was via satellite from Bangkok.
