Kourtney Kardashian turned 39 this week and celebrated with her friends and family. If mediocre sitcoms have taught me anything, it’s that no big, family celebration is complete without an embarrassing speech from a scorned ex-lover, drunk best friend, or, worst of all, a “cool” mom.
The true mother of dragons, Kris Jenner, took to Snapchat. With a drink in one hand and an indoor cigarette in the other, she told the world how much she loves Kourtney. It’s equal parts sweet and embarrassing.
“You taught me how to be a mom. You taught me how to love. You taught me what being a mom is all about and you were the first. You were there first and I love you more than I could ever say. I love you more than life itself. You don’t even understand how much I love and adore you and I appreciate you.”
