McDonald’s Adds Bakery Items To Menu In Push For Breakfast Customers

You’ll now be able to get breakfast bakery items when you go through the drive-thru at McDonald’s. The fast-food chain is adding the new items in an effort to push for more breakfast sales.

McDonald’s lost breakfast customers due to pandemic lockdowns which started in March. Morning meal purchases fell to 18 percent in June. More than half of McDonald’s breakfast sales were lost in May.

Wendy’s also gave McDonald’s some morning competition with the release of their breakfast menu.

Starting October 28th you’ll be able to get an apple fritter, blueberry muffin, or cinnamon roll and McCafe bakery items will be available all day.
