New Music from Weezer, Nancy Wilson, Bebe Rexha, and Miranda Lambert

• Van WeezerWeezer.  Their 15th album has a “hard rock” vibe, and they’ve dedicated it to the late Eddie Van Halen.

 

• You and MeNancy Wilson from Heart.  It’s her first official solo album, and it’s a mix of originals and covers of other acts, like Bruce Springsteen and the Cranberries.

• A Touch of the Beat Gets You Up on Your Feet Gets You Out and Then Into the SunAly & AJ.  It’s their first album in 14 years.  They’re in their 30s now.

• Latest Record Project: Volume 1Van Morrison.  He’s 75 now.  His 42nd record is a 28-track double album . . . and it sounds like it’s packed with his rants.

 

• Super What?Czarface and MF Doom.  Czarface is the hip hop trio featuring Inspectah Deck from the Wu Tang Clan.

 

• AshlynAshe.  This is her debut album.  It includes Moral of the Story, her duet with Niall Horan which you might know from “To All the Boys: P.S. I Still Love You”.

 

• The Marfa TapesMiranda Lambert’s side project with Jack Ingram and Jon Randall.  The title is a reference to Marfa, Texas.

 

• Set in StoneTravis Tritt.  This is his first new album in 13 years.
