A Day for Kids!

Murray Boys and Girls Club 

Day for Kids is more than just a celebration. It’s a national initiative that invites you to join Boys & Girls Clubs in making a difference for kids in your community. For more than a decade, Boys & Girls Clubs have held Day for Kids events to advocate for youth and celebrate the life-changing work taking place at Boys & Girls Clubs.

 

Utah Hispanic Heritage Parade and Street Festival
Saturday, September 23rd
10am-2:30pm
The Gateway

Empanadas, tacos, pupusas, Cuban sandwiches, arepas, and more delicious food! Beer, local artisans, dance performances, live music, a parade and other family friendly entertainment! The parade kicks off at 10am! Bring your whole family to this fun, free event while helping to raise awareness to Utah’s high rate of uninsured Hispanic children. All proceeds from this event go towards helping low-income people access health insurance.

 

 

2017 Harvest Moon Celebration

Historic 25th Street

The Harvest Moon Celebration is an annual farewell to summer event on Historic 25th Street. The Historic 25th Street Association will host the 16th annual Harvest Moon Celebration on September 23rd starting at noon. The day is made up of live music, entertainment, arm wrestling, pumpkin decorating and more than twenty children’s activities with support from Weber County RAMP, local nonprofits and on-street businesses. Beer and wine will be available at designated beverage stations for guests 21+.
