Radio Station Pulls “Baby It’s Cold Outside” From Play List and the Internet Lost It’s Mind

The #MeToo movement has taken the entertainment industry by storm.  With that, many are starting to question the slightly uncomfortable vibe in the Christmas classic “Baby It’s Cold Outside.”

Some argue the song is cute and flirty, while others see it as a guy who simply won’t take no for an answer.  There are those who even see an element of DATE RAPE in the song . . . especially when the woman says, quote, “Say, what’s in this drink?”

A Cleveland radio station, Star 102, decided to drop the song from their Christmas playlist after taking a poll on Facebook that revealed the majority of their listeners thought the song inappropriate.  They said the song now seems “very manipulative and wrong,” and added, quote, “In a world where #MeToo has finally given women the voice they deserve, the song has no place.”

Do you find the song inappropriate?
