Man Calls 911 Because His Girlfriend Let the Cat Eat His Bacon
A man from the UK called 999 (The British 911) because his girlfriend let the cat eat his bacon. The clip was released by West Yorkshire Police who receive hundreds of time-wasting calls each year. Unbelievable the operator keeps her cool and asks whether he wants them to arrest his girlfriend or the cat. And when the man replies both, she firmly tells him: “Sir, it’s not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. And we don’t arrest cats.” He starts to protest and insists it’s the girlfriend’s fault for allowing the cat to do it. But when he is finally told it’s not a 999 emergency, he finally concedes and ends the call. Get more here.
