Woman Cooked with Olive Oil Shower Gel for Months
Melony Jackson, who is believed to be American, confessed to her mistake in a funny post on Facebook, revealing that her bottle of Yves Rocher gel, which is emblazoned with pictures of olives, looked so like cooking oil that she had been adding it liberally to her cooking. She posted on Facebook: ‘I’ve thrown two saucepans away and nearly got rid of my dishwasher because my food kept tasting nasty. Turns out what I thought was olive oil was olive oil shower gel. A Burglar Inadvertently ‘Butt Dialed’ 911
Authorities say a man planning a burglary inadvertently dialed 911, allowing dispatchers to listen in on his conversation. Police received the errant call but were unsure of the caller’s location. They figured out the phone number had recently been assigned to 42-year-old Scott Esser. He’s now charged with that burglary and other burglaries in the area. Authorities say the robbery occurred the same day Esser made the inadvertent phone call, commonly referred to as a ‘butt dial’.” Esser’s bail was set at $100,000 and it wasn’t known Saturday if he has retained an attorney.
