A Salt Lake Man Tried to Rob a Bank, But the Teller Couldn’t Understand Him
A Salt Lake Man attempted to rob a Wells Fargo on Tuesday, he walked in and told the teller he had a gun, and demanded money. The teller asked the him what denominations of money he wanted, but when he told her, she was couldn’t understand him. “After some confusion, the teller told the suspect to write what he wanted on a note,” Detective Greg Wilking said. The man wrote something on the notepad, but the teller was unable to read it. Eventually the robber got frustrated and left empty handed. Police are looking for a black man in his 20s with a skinny build. Just 30 minutes earlier, a man with a similar description robbed Mountain America Credit Union, 1225 S. Redwood, after handing the teller a note demanding money. Get more here.
