A Man Assaulted His Girlfriend Because She Wouldn’t Smell His Armpit
24-year-old Robinson Pinilla-Bolivar of Midland, Texas was home with his girlfriend Sara Bustilloz earlier this month. And while she was doing dishes, he went up and asked her to smell his armpit. We’re not sure if he was showing off how bad it smelled, if he wanted to make sure it didn’t smell, or if he was just trying to be funny. But when she refused to do it, he flipped out, punched her in the back of the head, and pulled a knife. After that, he ran away and she called the police. They tracked him down and arrested him for aggravated assault. And he could be looking at up to 20 years in prison. Get more here.
Logan Man Made false Report Claiming a Gunman at a Walmart to Avoid a Ticket
Police in Logan received a report of a man with a gun who was going to start shooting in a Walmart, but the call was a fake, made by a man trying to distract police and avoid a ticket. The man had been stopped by police for a minor traffic violations. He gave an officer false information, and, fearing arrest, he called 911 to report a man with a gun, “to lure the officer to a more important public safety call.” Police tracked down the suspect at his home, but he refused to come outside or speak with officers.
