Angry Customer Drives His Truck Through a Hotel Lobby
John Edward Parsley, 62, of Gonzalez, Texas, was trying to check into the Comfort Inn of Alva, near Oklahoma City when he card was declined. He was asked to pay with cash, which he did. Edward was very upset and threatened the employees saying to he was going to “run his truck over them and the property.”. At that point he left the lobby to speak to a police officer just outside. Then he gets into his truck, and plows though the lobby doors heading straight for the two women behind the desk. He backs up, stops and then pulls back in to the lobby. He says something to the women, gets out of the truck and calmly walks back to the entrance with his hands raised. The officer arrested him, and he is being held on $1 million bond, facing charges of two felony counts of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and one count of malicious injury to property valued at more than $1,000.
