A Robber Forced a Guy to Let Him Use the Bathroom Before Stealing His Car

A guy was driving home in Berkeley, California last week, and as he was parking, a 25-year-old man named Joseph Skyler popped out from behind the apartment building with a gun. Joseph said he was going to take the car, but first, he really needed to use the bathroom. So he forced the guy to take him up to his apartment, and let him have a few minutes with the toilet. The guy lives with his grandma, and she happened to be in the bathroom at the time. So Joseph forced her out, and made the guy stand in there with him while he did his business. On the bright side, he did let the guy turn around. And once he was done, he headed back downstairs and drove off in the car. The cops tracked him down about an hour later, and he was arrested for robbery and carjacking. He also randomly had his puppy with him, so the cops took it to animal control. Get more here.

Mugger Caught Because His Getaway Car Wouldn’t Start

Edenson Major, 26, of Belle Glade Florida was hanging out at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino when he decided to do some robbing. So Edenson started stalking people in the parking garage. He spotted an easy target, a 73-year-old man on his way to his car. He walked up behind the man, reached into his pocket and stole $1,895 in cash, before knocking the man over and fleeing. That’s when things went wrong for Edenson, his getaway car refused to start. When a passerby noticed Edenson struggling, they offered to jump the car. He declined, but asked for a ride instead. The good Samaritan unknowingly became the getaway driver. Police arrived, and contacted the owner of the vehicle that wouldn’t start, it was Edenson’s cousin’s car, and he gave them all the info they needed. He was arrested and charged with robbery by sudden snatching, theft from a person 65 or older, and battery on a person 65 or older. Get more here.
