A Street Magician Is Arrested When His Trick Is Just Pulling Off a Woman’s Bikini
Be careful, just because a guy on the street says he’s a magician, that doesn’t guarantee he’s actually a magician. A 51-year-old magician named Richard Cook was out in a big tourist area in Clearwater, Florida this weekend, offering to do magic tricks. A woman took him up on the offer, and he said he was going to make a scarf disappear. He told the woman to put both of her arms out in front of her. And once she did, he pulled off her Bikini Bottoms. She managed to grab them and keep them close to her body so nothing was exposed, and then Richard tried to grab them again. He was arrested for felony battery. And go figure, it turns out he’s not really a magician. All of the other street performers in the area are licensed by the city, but Richard wasn’t. He does have a long criminal history, though, he’s been in prison six different times. Get more here.
