A Guy Steals Two Crucifixes, Then Uses Them as Weapons
A 35-year-old guy named Forrest Brantley broke into the gift shop of a Spanish mission in Ventura, California last week and stole two crucifixes. That alone is sacrilegious, but he wasn’t done. He went out to the parking lot and tried to steal someone’s phone, and when they wouldn’t give it to him, he hit them with one of the crucifixes. Then he started walking down the street, hit two more people with the crucifixes, broke a car window with them, hit the 75-year-old man inside with them, broke into a thrift shop, stole a bicycle, and hit one more person with them. The cops finally stopped his blasphemous rampage at that point and arrested him for robbery, burglary, and assault with a deadly weapon. Get more here.
