Mom Calls Santa Claus, Gets Hit With $145 Fine
Rachel is a mom of three little girls, ages 2, 4, and 6. She and her family recently moved, and she’s still getting the hang of things in her new surroundings, and like many a harried parent, time and energy is rarely on her side. Last week, her two youngest were “really going at, hitting each other, weren’t listening to me when I told them to stop.” Rachel pulled out her phone and gave Santa a call. Rachel was driving at the time of the “call.” An officer pulled out behind Rachel. About three miles later, she was pulled over. Gamer Pleads Guilty to Making Emergency Call to Report Grand Theft Auto Shooting
Back in November, David Helens called 999 (the British equivalent of 911) and reported a shooting… but the only shooting that was happening was inside the Grand Theft Auto world. Helens told the 999 dispatcher that his friend Max had been shot in the chest and was bleeding badly. Helens went on for 12 minutes describing the horror, which became worse when he himself began to scream. He claimed to be himself in the throes of an attack by an unknown assailant.
