American Idol creator Simon Fuller is answering all of our prayers by reuniting one of the world’s most powerful girl groups.
The five women, who haven’t been in the same room together in nearly six years, will be meeting in London today to hammer out the details. They will receive £10 million ($14.2 million) each for the project. The project is still shrouded in mystery, but several ideas have been thrown out by The Sun including “TV shows in China, a new telly talent show, endorsement deals and a compilation album celebrating their greatest hits.”
It’s not all sunshine and roses. Victoria Beckham (Posh Spice as she was known in the group), said for years that she would never return. However, with £10 million in the bank and assurances that she wouldn’t have to sing, Posh finally broke.
Mel B. (Scary Spice) was spotted last night taking a flight from LAX to London, spurring today’s ‘secret meeting’ rumors.
If the meeting rumors are true, it won’t last long. Victoria “I’m Too Good For the Spice Girls” Beckham has to be back to NYC for New York Fashion Week on Monday.
