Zooey Deschanel is now a mother, and a wife…again.  Last night, her rep confirmed that she gave birth to a baby girl.  There’s no word on a name or an exact birth date yet, but the New York Post says the baby was born last week.

The baby did NOT arrive out of wedlock, because the rep also revealed that Zooey and her boyfriend Jacob Pechenik recently tied the knot.  There aren’t any further details on the wedding.

Zooey and Jacob got engaged on January 17th, her 35th birthday. This is Zooey’s second marriage.  She was married to Death Cab for Cutie singer  Ben Gibbard from 2009 to 2011.
