Many people say that 9 is too young for social media, citing that cyber bullying is on the rise. I, however, would like to counter the cyber bullying argument with the purest, most delightful account on twitter.
I’ve Pet That Dog is run by 9-year-old Gideon. Gideon really loves petting dogs. So much so, that he posts a photo of every dog he pets along with their name, age, and backstory.
Like this 15-year-old squirrel chaser who was abandoned after a house fire.
I pet Pepper. He was abandoned at 2 years old after his house burned down. His current caregiver was a neighbor who found him and took him in. Pepper is a “rabbit and squirrel chasing son of a gun.” He is now 15, and can’t go as fast but he still likes to chase. pic.twitter.com/lpyl2fzkk7

This very talented therapy dog.
I pet Porter. He is a 5 year old standard poodle. He is a dog that does tricks. He can grab a ball and place it in a basket. He visits and performs at a local retirement community. He loves the attention. pic.twitter.com/OUJbVOsmwS

I pet Speedy and Frankie. Speedy is 14 years old and a dachshund. Frankie is a dachshund, Jack Russell terrier mix. Frankie, the brown pup, is blind. They both can sit pretty and shake. pic.twitter.com/KbIfDblKyj

CAN YOU EVEN HANDLE IT?! 😍😱
Though Gideon and his canine friends only joined twitter last month, he has amassed over 3.3k followers to date. See them for yourself and give him a follow.
