Courtney Love Will be Headlining in an Off-Off-Broadway Musical
The Hole frontwoman, known for her hard-partying past and signature rasp, has headed to the stage in Kansas City Choir Boy, an off-off-Broadway pop opera that’s part of the Prototype opera and music theater festival in New York. “I play a rock star with a drug problem. And the research I have to do – it’s so tough for me!” Love, who got sober in 2007 after a long battle with addiction, told The New York Times. Bill Gates posted a video about an initiative he funded to create a machine that takes sewer sludge and converts it to clean drinking water. And, in order to prove that he believes in the results, he actually drank some of that purified water. Well, sort of. Technically, he took about the tiniest sip humanly possible. Farrah Abraham’s Gigantic Fake Lips
Farrah posted the pics online herself with the caption, “Girlfriends don’t say I didn’t warn ya ! #BOTCHED California #ER #fixit”. Apparently she was getting a new procedure, where the doctor puts an implant in the patients lip, eliminating the need for fillers every few months. Farrah says she researched the doctor and the procedure and decided it was a safe bet. She was wrong. She says the doctors injected her with an anesthetic before the procedure … and believes she had a MAJOR allergic reaction. Marlon Wayans Explains Why He Won the ‘Cleveland’ Suit
Marlon Wayans explained to a TMZ photog why a judge tossed out a lawsuit filed by a guy for racial discrimination and harassment, because he said he looked like Cleveland Brown from “Family Guy.” The judge felt it was a fair comment, ruling, “The Cleveland Brown character, like [Pierre], obviously black, heavy … with curly ‘Afro’ hair were all incorporated humorously into the filming of the scene.” The judge also said Marlon’s stock in trade is stereotypes, and it’s protected speech. Dustin Diamond Ordered to Stand Trial over Alleged Stabbing
Former Saved by the Bell star Dustin Diamond will stand trial for allegedly stabbing a man at a bar in Port Washington, Wisconsin. Diamond, 37, was charged with second-degree recklessly endangering safety, disorderly conduct and carrying a concealed weapon after he admitted he was armed with a knife during a fight on Dec. 25 at the Grand Avenue Saloon. Diamond, who was interviewed after he left the bar, told police he was defending his 27-year-old fiancée, Amanda Schutz. Diamond’s defense attorney, Thomas Alberti, says: “There is no evidence Dustin Diamond touched anyone with his knife,” he told PEOPLE. “Dustin didn’t reach out or slash out or throw his arms around and try to wound someone. He merely flashed the pocket knife to try to stop the harm that was befalling his wife.” Get the full story here.
