For the past 15 years, Jon has been waking you up doing morning radio here in Utah! Originally from Long Beach, California, Jon spends his time driving his kids from sports to birthday parties, blotting the grease off his pizza and complaining about how cold the winter is. There are not many people like Chantel Lauren, but Salt Lake City is fortunate enough to listen to her every afternoon on Mix 105.1 from 10am-2pm. Raised in Texas, Chantel is a confident woman with a southern attitude for life. She is also a successful boss babe who started a bridal brand in 2014 known as Chantel Lauren, Chantel’s gowns are sold internationally and have been featured in Cosmopolitan and Vogue. Chantel is a resilient single mom to two little boys (4y and 2y) and spends her time off-air living life with them, making memories and showing them the beauty of life and all it has to offer. Chantel uses her platform to build up women by sharing her real life in raw detail about mom life, entrepreneurship, trials and mistakes, heartaches, and the joys of being a confident woman in 2022.
Dylan is Mix 105.1’s resident radio geek. He lives, breathes, and eats radio. Having over 20 years of experience in the industry, Dylan has worked in all genres in various markets, but Salt Lake has always been home. When he’s not on the radio, which isn’t often, you can find him searching for local hole-in-the-wall pizza joints, or spending time in downtown Salt Lake catching up on fun local music, going to movies, making the occasional trip to Wendover, traveling, exploring, or just chilling at home with his family. Dylan loves connecting with his listeners, on both the studio hotline and on all social media platforms. You can find Dylan on Mix from 3 pm through 7 pm.

About Mason
Born and raised in Wisconsin, Mason knew from a young age that his future would involve music, entertainment or technology. He was the definition of “class clown”, often telling jokes, talking too much and finding himself in detention. He was everyone’s friend, loved to meet new people and craved attention. Family, teachers and peers always pushed Mason to be a stand-up comedian, singer or some kind of performer. Radio was the perfect fit.
Before graduating high school, Mason had already landed hundreds of gigs announcing and DJing school dances, sporting events, weddings and house parties. He started a 24-hour internet radio station out of his bedroom and operated it completely solo for almost three years, playing today’s hits, managing social media, web design, booking artist interviews and advertisers for his worldwide audience online. He studied the formatting, concepts and details of great radio while making connections with all the local stations and disc jockeys. Mason always believed that the future of radio would depend on live, interactive, content-driven excitement that listeners could connect with. After all, reality is the best entertainment.
Mason’s life changed when he moved to Massachusetts in January 2020 to advance his career in radio. The coronavirus pandemic was just beginning to shut down much of the world and left Mason stranded at his new home, without friends or family. Only focused on succeeding and doing what he loves, Mason teamed up with his friend and longtime idol, John Garabedian, who taught Mason everything he knew and loved about the radio business, to create Liveline.
JUSTIN WEEKENDS
Originally from Iowa, JUSTIN made his way to Utah during high school, where he attended Murray High and landed an internship at a local radio station—the spark that ignited his broadcasting career.
Since then, he’s worked at radio stations across the country, bringing energy, personality, and good vibes wherever he goes.
Mix 105.1 is proud to call Justin part of the family.
When he’s not on the air, you can find him out on the water at Flaming Gorge, trying new recipes on his smoker, tinkering with projects in his garage, or hanging out with his dog, “Oakley”.
