Here we are – WEEK 5!
Random Acts of Kindness: Week 5 (#29-#35)
It’s our 4th annual 105 Days of Love and we want to keep up our tradition of spreading the love. We’ve teamed up with our friends at Mark Miller Subaru for the next 105 days we’ll be committing random acts of kindness and we courage you to join us! Are you stuck on what to do for 105 days? Don’t worry! We’ve got you! Each week we’ll be posting 7 random acts of kindness you can do for your loved ones, a stranger, yourself, and for the environment.
Here are the next 7 random acts of kindness for week 5.
29. – Adopt a pet.
This seems like an “unusual” random act of kindness… but if you really think about it, you’re not only saving a life, you’re gaining a new family member and what’s better then being kind to yourself and finding happiness with a new pet? Plus adopting helps our local animal shelters.
30. – Wash someone’s car for them.
Now that the weather is starting to warm up, wash a loved one’s car for them.
31. – Buy someone a coffee.
Next time you’re in line a Starbucks maybe consider buying the person behind you a drink too. A simple gesture like that could help make someone’s day.
32. – Offer a friend a ride home.
Maybe you’re out one night with a few friends and they probably had one too many to drink, offer to drive them home. Not only will it save them some money on an Uber or Lyft, but it would also stop them from potentially making a terrible mistake by getting behind the wheel of a vehicle.
33. – Send coloring books to kids at the hospital.
You don’t really think about this a lot, but there are plenty of children stuck at the hospital every single day, whether they are there for themselves or because a loved one is hospitalized. This would help them pass the time and keep their minds busy with something positive.
34. – Shovel/Clear a neighbor’s driveway.
We know we might not get another winter storm, but living in Utah you may never know. Next time there is a snowstorm help shovel a neighbors driveway.
35. – Help an elderly person with groceries.
The next time you’re in a grocery store parking lot and you see an elderly person trying to load their groceries into their car stop and offer a hand.
