Greta Gerwig wrote and directed “Barbie”. . . but she didn’t get EVERYTHING she wanted. For instance, Greta really wanted a FART JOKE in the movie. She even filmed one. But it didn’t make the cut.
She says, quote, “We had like a fart opera in the middle. I thought it was really funny. And that was not the consensus.”
Greta is apparently a big fan of flatulence, because she tried to get fart jokes into her last two movies, which were “Lady Bird” and “Little Women” . . . but both times they were removed “about two-thirds through the edit.”
