A limo is waiting outside of Joe Exotic’s prison because he believes Donald Trump will pardon him today.
Joe’s lawyer, Eric Love, says, “We’re going to be celebrating. We’re confident enough we already have a limousine parked about half a mile from the prison. I’ve got make-up, wardrobe, the whole unit that will come up. The first thing Joe wants to do, he wants his hair done. He hasn’t had his hair done in two-and-a-half years. That’s the first order of business. Then we’ll probably go and get some pizzas, steak, maybe a McRib.”
He was arrested in September 2018 for his role in the attempted assassination of big cat activist, Carole Baskin. Love has been working tirelessly to get The Tiger King a presidential pardon, even flying with his team to DC to meet with White House officials 2 weeks ago.
Rumor has it that on his final day in office, Donald Trump is allegedly planning on doling out 100 presidential pardons. So it’s not entirely out of the question. However, I still didn’t believe it would happen until Love was quoted saying “I think the president has sided with us and I believe it will take most of the limelight away from president-elect Joe Biden.”
Any chance to pull attention away from Biden might just be enticing enough to the president, he may just do it out of spite.
