A Barbie sequel might already be in the works.
Margot Robbie has confirmed that discussions are underway for a potential sequel to the upcoming film, but also warned fans not to get ahead of themselves. In a new interview, the actress explained it would be unwise to begin planning for a sequel that may never happen while trying to deliver a film which stands on its own merit.
She said, “It could go a million different directions from this point. But I think you fall into a bit of a trap if you try and set up a first movie whilst also planning for sequels.”
Barbie hits theaters on July 21.
