Fame almost drove singer Billie Eilish to suicide back in 2018.
Thursday (Jan. 23) on The Gayle King Grammy Special, Billie told King, “I was so unhappy last year. I was so unhappy, and I was so, like, joyless. I genuinely didn’t think I would make it to 17.” Billie blamed her mental health struggles on her newfound fame, which took her away from her friends and life as she once knew it.
Billie credits her mom, family support and therapy for saving her life.
