The Simpson’s are NOTORIOUS for predicting the future.
They’ve predicted Donald Trumps Presidency, Fox becoming part of Disney, and even the US Men’s Curling team beating Sweden in the Winter Olympics. So why do people believe that the famous cartoon family has predicted this year’s FIFA World Cup outcome?
There’s a 1997 episode from season 9 called, “The Cartridge Family” and it shows the Simpsons watching a commercial for a big soccer match featuring Mexico and Portugal. As of right now, the two are not scheduled to play each other…but it is VERY possible that they will meet in final.
