Elon Musk and Grimes change their baby’s name to comply with the law.
After catching heat for naming his son “X Æ A-12,” Elon Musk has had the newborn’s name changed to better comply with California law — although most people will likely find the new name no less unconventional than the original.
Musk has changed the baby’s name to “X Æ A-Xii” to comply with a birth certificate law that states legal names can’t be spelled with a number. By changing the number “12” in the name to a Roman numeral, Musk says his offspring’s name is now legal.
Can you pronounce the name of Musk’s son? In what ways does having a bizarre name affect a child?
