Groundhog Day is Saturday.
My Buckhannon claims this year’s Groundhog Festival, in Rock Cave, West Virginia, is going to have 30,000 pounds of groundhog sausage.
The festival only sold 600 pounds its first year in 1994. The festival’s special Critter Stew will also be offered. It has groundhog sausage, elk, antelope, rabbit, bear, chicken and venison.
