No one threw me a baby shower! Ok, my wife did all the work, so she deserves all the showers. But this is something I’ve never heard of.
When I hear a friend’s wife is having a baby we’d take him out to congratulate him, or get the couple a gift, but that’d be it. Not anymore.
Introducing the “Huggies and Chuggies” party. Male invitees are required to bring baby stuff, preferably a package of diapers, to give to the dad to be, in exchange for free beer. Get it?
Is “Huggies and Chuggies” a common thing now?
Is this a brilliant new tradition that brings men closer to the process of childrearing?
Or is it just a way to weasel your friends out of more free stuff for your unborn child?
