A new study has found that fans of horror movies are coping better with the coronavirus pandemic.
Experts believe that the fact that horror fans like to watch disastrous and apocalyptic movies and shows allows them to deal with real emergencies like coronavirus better and by watching the shows they can get survival tips.
To get the study results, researchers tested 300 people about movie preferences and what films they watched. After that, the subjects were asked how they felt about COVID and how they prepared and deal with the pandemic.
Those who watched more horror seemed less upset and those who watched doomsday films were more resilient.
