I wanted to do something special for my wife on Valentine’s Day, so I’ve been taking cooking classes and planning to surprise her with a nice dinner. But when we were talking about the weekend, she said she only wants to do two things on Saturday: Go out to dinner, and see “Fifty Shades of Grey”. Apparently she already bought the movie tickets, because she didn’t want it to sell out. I don’t know why women are so obsessed with this whole phenomenon, but I really don’t want to see the movie. It sounds so bad . . . even a lame romantic comedy would be better. Should I scrap my plans and go see the movie with my wife? Or should I tell her I have something even better in mind, and surprise her after all? Randy, 39
Are any of you planning to see “Fifty Shades of Grey” with their wife or girlfriend this weekend? Ladies, what’s the big deal?
