Oh Valentines Day, it’s a tricky one…
I wanted to do something special for my wife on Valentine’s Day, so I’ve been taking cooking classes and planning to surprise her with a nice dinner.
But when we were talking about the weekend, she said she only wants to do two things on Saturday: Go out to dinner, and see “Fifty Shades of Grey”. Apparently she already bought the movie tickets, because she didn’t want it to sell out.
I don’t know why women are so obsessed with this whole phenomenon, but I really don’t want to see the movie. It sounds so bad . . . even a lame romantic comedy would be better.
Should I scrap my plans and go see the movie with my wife? Or should I tell her I have something even better in mind, and surprise her after all?
