This salad is fabulous!
And I’m not saying the because I’m Greek. I don’t even get the traditional Greek Salad…although they have one on the menu.
I’ve been going to Padelis downtown once a week, for the past month now. I get the Chopped Greek salad with chicken added. They have a choice of dressings, I always get the Greek Vinaigrette. They also offer the Lemony Greek dressing. It has chopped lettuce, cucumbers, tomatoes, Greek peppers, olives, red onion and feta. It comes with a dolmathe (stuffed grape leaf) and a side of pita bread.
You get a lot of salad for the price ($6.89 + $3 for the chicken) and the chicken is cooked deliciously! I’m also a fan of the dressing. They just opened this past January and is run by the same people that run Greek Souvlaki.It’s fast Greek food and perfect for a downtown lunch break. And they make a darn good salad!
