Despite new competition from the likes of Disney+ and Apple TV, Netflix is continuing to dominate the streaming wars.
The company added 8.76 million global subscribers in the final quarter of last year, surpassing projections by more than a million. But Netflix will see even more competition in 2020 with services like HBO Max and NBC’s Peacock set to launch in the coming months, while the platform has recently lost popular titles like Friends and The Office.
