A few new movies hit the theaters this weekend. One is even a super-hero movie! Do any interest you?
“Madame Web” (PG-13) Trailer (Opened Wednesday)
Dakota Johnson plays Cassie Webb, a paramedic who becomes a reluctant superhero after developing psychic abilities that let her see the future.
Her origin story also stars Sydney Sweeney, Isabela Merced, and Celeste O’Connor as three women being hunted by a clairvoyant killer who knows they’re each destined to eventually become a version of Spider-Woman.
And, as you might expect, Madame Web is the only one who can keep them alive.
Bob Marley: One Love (PG-13) Trailer (Opened Wednesday)
A movie about the life of legendary reggae musician Bob Marley, which includes surviving an assassination attempt in his Jamaican hometown while trying to unite people with music.
British actor Kingsley Ben-Adir plays Marley and Lashana Lynch plays his wife Rita. MCU fans might recognize them both. He was Gravik in “Secret Invasion”, and she is Maria Rambeau in “Captain Marvel” and “The Marvels”.
