Busker Fest @ Downtown
August 16th, Regent Street and Block 70 will be transformed into SLC’s annual Busker Festival. Salt Lake City was once home to a thriving Vaudeville scene, and this festival celebrates the city’s history by bringing the living tradition of busking and street theatre to Downtown once again. Utah Beer Fest @ Utah State Fair Park

Grand Temple Opening @ Krishna Salt Lake Temple
Between 11 am and 2 pm there will be a live music and a sacred ceremony welcoming the temple deities to their new home, followed by lunch. Later on in the day, a cultural program will be held from 6 pm til 8 pm, featured Malini Taneja Dance, kirtan, and Guest Speaker Anuttama Das.
Ogden Valley Balloon Fest @ Eden Park
The Ogden Valley Balloon and Artist Festival is scheduled for August 16, 17 and 18. The event will be held at Eden Park, the site of the first Valley Balloon Festival held in 1994. The festival offers affordable fun for the whole family. This year’s event will feature balloon launches, art booths, continuous live entertainment featuring an eclectic selection of music, family games, and a diverse group of local food vendors.
