Reading Harry Potter Books Makes You a Better Person, Scientists  Say

If you’re a fan of Harry Potter then you may be happy to know that you’re considered to be a better person. 

A study found in the Journal of Applied Social Psychology, says that J.K. Rowling’s books help young people understand the “social stigmatism” of minorities.

Readers of the Harry Potter series were found to have a better understanding and empathy for minority groups over those who had never read the books.  Have you ever read a Harry Potter book? How do view minorities?
