In the new issue of “British Vogue“, Rihanna says, quote, “It was just us as parents and our baby. You’re like, ‘They trusted us to come home with this baby? This new life? With us? No doctors, no nurses, we’re just . . . going home?'”
She also addresses her decision to do this year’s Super Bowl Halftime Show, after turning it down a few years ago.
She says, quote, “There’s still a lot of mending to be done in my eyes, but it’s powerful to break those doors, and have representation at such a high, high level and a consistent level.”
She also said that after last year’s Hip-Hop-themed show, it was nice to have the urban community represented at back-to-back Super Bowls.
