This week, in honor of Halloween, we are discussing a cold case with a paranormal twist: Bella in the Wych Elm.
In 1943, 4 boys climbing trees in Hagley Wood discovered a skeleton in a hollowed-out Wych Elm Stump.
Though she remains unidentified to this day, locals refer to her as Bella.
An unknown vandal began painting variations of the phrase “Who put Bella in the Witch Elm?” all around town.
