The Maui Wildfire Destroyed Mick Fleetwood’s Restaurant

Mick Fleetwood had a restaurant on the Hawaiian island of Maui.  It was called Fleetwood’s on Front Street.  But it is no more, thanks to the massive wildfire that has also killed at least three dozen people.

Mick says, quote, “This is a devastating moment for Maui and many are suffering unimaginable loss . . . and while we are heartbroken our main priority is the safety of our dear staff and team members.”

He also says he’s, quote, “committed to supporting the community and those affected by this disaster in the days month and years to come.”

Meanwhile, Jason Momoa has been posting updates on the fires . . . and posting links to resource guides and a locator for missing people.  Jason was born in Honolulu, and his father is a native Islander.

Oprah, who’s a Maui resident, showed up at a shelter and basically just asked them what they needed her to do.

Boxer Floyd Mayweather Jr. is also helping out.  He paid to fly 68 families affected by the fire from Maui to Honolulu.  He also hooked them up with food, clothing, and a place to stay.
