The Weeknd is set to star in his first feature film alongside ‘Wednesday’ star Jenna Ortega. The currently untitled movie, which The Weeknd co-wrote, will be directed by Trey Edward Shults from ‘Waves,’ and ‘It Comes at Night.’

While plot details are being kept under wraps, it has been reported that Trey and The Weeknd have been secretly collaborating on the project for months, and as soon as Jenna read the script, she was “blown away.”
The film is currently shooting in L.A.
