43 Reptile Eggs Found In School Sandbox

turns out, cats aren’t the only animal ruining your sandbox.

Kids at a school in New South Wales, Australia found reptile eggs while playing in their sandbox. According to The BBC, wildlife rescuers were dispatched to respond to concerns that the eggs belonged to the eastern brown snake; the deadliest snake species in Australia.

The verdict is still out on what species of reptile left the eggs, but they were removed as a precaution. In all, 43 eggs from 7 nests were collected.
