Don’t you hate it when an unexpected guest stops by for thanksgiving dinner?
A woman driving to work on Thanksgiving morning had hit something, but wasn’t sure what it was. 50 miles later, she arrived to her destination and was shocked to find a bobcat which had survived the terrifying journey.
According to Fox 13, the woman called police who in turn called animal control. Richmond Animal Care and Control director, Christie Peters said “Officer Jones sent me a text message at 8:06. And the text was, ‘I’m on a call with a bobcat stuck in the grill of a car – and he’s still alive.’”
Listen, if I got hit by a car and then carried 50 miles, my eyes would be pretty crazy, too.

Peters was able to use a catch pole to pull the animal out of the grill. Luckily for the big kitty, he was unharmed except for a minor cut on his back and will be released very soon back into the wild.
