The Seattle Seahawks completed one of the most dramatic NFC Championship Game wins of all time versus the Green Bay Packers on Sunday, coming back from a 16-0 deficit to win 28-22 in overtime and clinch their berth in Super Bowl XLIX. There, they’ll face the New England Patriots, who destroyed the Indianapolis Colts 45-7 on Sunday night. NFL investigating if Patriots used deflated footballs in AFC Championship game
The NFL has confirmed it is looking into charges the New England Patriots cheated Sunday night when they clinched a trip to Super Bowl Sunday by using deflated footballs. “The NFL is investigating the possibility,” Bob Kravitz, of WTHR, tweeted, adding that, “at one point the officials took a ball out of play and weighed it.” If the Patriots did cheat, it would not be the first time. The team was penalized a first-round draft pick, fined $250,000 and head coach Belichick was personally fined $500,000 after an investigation by the NFL determined the team had illegally videotaped their opponents hand signals during a 2007 game. Well, Jolie has attended more movie events in general, as she’s more known as a film actress, whereas Aniston is more famous for her 10-season run on Friends. And also possibly because of, you know, that whole Brad Pitt thing. Kimye arrived in Utah, perhaps for the Sundance Film Festival, but the duo headed straight to the mountains for some skiing and snowboarding. Kim had to try on a few new accessories she’s not used to wearing. “My friends made me wear a helmet & I wasn’t happy about it,” she joked on Twitter. “But I feel it’s more safe & I’m into it if you can’t tell.” At least she could wear a fashionable fur coat that kept her ears and head warm. Vanessa Hudgens & Julianne Hough will Star in Fox’s ‘Grease’
The event will mark Fox’s entry into the primetime event musical game following NBC’s hugely successful The Sound of Music Live in 2013 and last December’s rather disappointing Peter Pan. Since 1978’s Grease is a more contemporary title than either of NBC’s shows, plus has a high-school setting and popular songbook, Fox is well positioned to draw a big audience. Casting Grease has been tricky, however, with several big names having been approached over the last several months. TMZ reports that Lindsay is shooting a commercial for Esurance. Lindsay is shooting the commercial in Long Beach and it might just run during the Super Bowl. Is Lindsay the best person for the job? In 2007 she drove up a median and was arrested for DUI. Later that year she was arrested again after a wild ride on PCH where she allegedly took several dudes hostage. In 2010 she hit a baby stroller in West Hollywood. In 2012 Lindsay hit a car outside a club. And later that year she slammed into an 18 wheeler on PCH, claiming her brakes failed.
