Taylor Swift Is Obsessed with Beyonce and She Just Donated $50,000 to New York City Schools
Taylor Swift’s recent reconciliation with Kanye West is suddenly making a LOT more sense. Apparently, they share a mutual obsession with Beyonce – who is, like, one of the best at everything of all time. Taylor says, quote, “It’s normal for everyone to love Beyoncé, but I love her more than that amount, more than the normal amount.” She says it’s “arguable” that her obsession reaches an “unhealthy” level, and adds, quote, “I try really hard not to let it get creepy, I just really channel it into a joyous admiration and appreciation.” In another interview this week, Taylor said, quote, “[Beyoncé is] awesome, in a party scenario, the nicest, talking to everybody, dancing sometimes.” By the way, Taylor donated $50,000 in profits from her song “Welcome to New York” to New York City’s public schools, but some people are complaining because it’s a small amount, and Taylor reportedly made $64 million last year. Giuliana Rancic Publicly Apologizes to Zendaya for Fashion Police Comment
Giuliana Rancic is owning up to her mistakes. On Tuesday, Feb. 24, the E! correspondent and Fashion Police co-host, 40, issued a public apology on E! News to Zendaya. During the Feb. 23 Oscars episode, Rancic joked about the former Disney star’s dreadlocks, saying, “I feel like she smells like pachouli oil,” and when the cameras cut away to a picture of the star’s look, an unnamed voice chimed in saying, “Or weed!” The offensive comments caused Zendaya to post a lengthy message on Instagram, defending her hairstyle and slamming the show. Demi Lovato rushed to hospital with lung infection after ‘experiencing breathing difficulties’
Pop star Demi Lovato has reportedly been rushed to a hospital after experiencing breathing difficulties. According to TMZ, the 22-year-old singer was taken to the Providence Tarzana Medical Center in California by a friend on Tuesday after suffering “significant trouble” breathing. The Skyscraper hit-maker is said to have been prescribed medication by a doctor after she was found to have a ‘flu-related’ lung infection, and an insider told the publication she was also given an antibiotic known as Z-Pak. Chris Brown Can’t Enter Canada
Chris Brown was forced to cancel a couple shows in Canada, because he was stopped at the border. He Tweeted, quote, “The good people of the Canadian government wouldn’t allow me entry. I’ll be back this summer.” His tweet was later deleted. We don’t know why he was blocked, but it must have something to do with his criminal record. Canadian officials say he can apply to return at a later date. For what it’s worth, the Internet seems to think Drake is behind all this, because they’re beefing right now. TLC Threatens Honey Boo Boo and She’s Facing a Health Intervention
Honey Boo Boo wants to be a pop star, but her former network says they’ll come down on her like a ton of bricks if she releases a song. Sources close to the family say TLC sent the family an ultimatum, they can’t work for another entertainment company until their contract with the network runs its course at the end of May. Mama June, Honey, and the fam were in LA last week shopping a reboot of their show to other networks and Honey Boo Boo recorded a song, “Movin’ Up,” with Pumpkin and Adam Barta, produced by LA On The Track. In a health intervention courtesy of The Doctors, June Shannon (a.k.a. “Mama June”) is told that her daughter Alana “Honey Boo Boo” Thompson is “an obese 9-year-old.” Considering that Alana’s favorite exercise is “belly flops,” the medical show’s experts fear the former Here Comes Honey Boo Boo star may not be shedding her extra weight anytime soon. “I love a lot of stuff deep-fried,” Alana says during an upcoming episode. “I love deep-fried Oreos.” Of course, the blame doesn’t rest on little Alana’s shoulders: “It all starts with you,” Dr. Travis Stork tells Mama June, 35. “That’s on you.” Get the full story here.
Pee-Wee Herman’s Next Movie Will Go Straight To Netflix
A new Pee-Wee Herman movie starts shooting next month, but it won’t be in theaters. It’s heading straight to Netflix. It’s called “Pee Wee’s Big Holiday”, and there’s no release date yet. It’s not necessarily a bad thing that it’s debuting on Netflix. Other than the fact that it won’t be eligible for the many Oscars it will no doubt deserve. Netflix has seriously ramped up its original content, including TV shows like “Orange Is the New Black” and”House of Cards”. They also signed Adam Sandler to a four-movie deal. Plus, the new Pee Wee flick is being produced by Judd Apatow, who’s basically in charge of all comedy right now.
