Mariah Carey’s ‘E=MC²’ Hits #1 On iTunes – 12 Years After Release.
Twelve years after its release, Mariah Carey’s album E=MC2 has reached the number one spot on iTunes. The album gave Mariah her 18th number one song with “Touch My Body” and was a fitting follow-up to her album The Emancipation of MiMi. No one really knows why her album went back to number one after twelve years, but some believe that price markdowns had something to do with the sales spike. One thing is for sure, you can’t sleep on Mariah.
