Sabrina Carpenter, Megan Thee Stallion, Katy Perry, Chappell Roan, Karol G, and more took the stage at Long Island’s UBS Arena

The 2024 MTV Video Music Awards lit up Long Island’s UBS Arena on September 11, with Megan Thee Stallion hosting and leading a dynamic roster of performers. The night was packed with star power, featuring Sabrina Carpenter, Katy Perry, Chappell Roan, Camila Cabello, Karol G, Lisa, and more. Sabrina Carpenter

Sabrina Carpenter had a memorable main-show debut after playing the pre-show last year. The pop star charmed the audience with a playful performance, featuring hits from Short n’ Sweet, including “Please Please Please,” “Taste,” and the fan-favorite “Espresso.”

Megan Thee Stallion

VMAs host Megan Thee Stallion took center stage with a fiery medley of her biggest hits. At one point, she surprised the crowd by bringing out Japanese rapper Yuki Chiba for a high-energy performance of “Mamushi.”


Katy Perry

Katy Perry was honored with the prestigious Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award. She celebrated by delivering a nostalgic medley of her iconic hits, including “Roar,” “Firework,” and “I Kissed a Girl,” reminding everyone why she remains a pop powerhouse.

Chappell Roan

Chappell Roan continued her breakout year with a show-stopping performance. Fresh off winning Best New Artist, she dazzled the crowd with “Good Luck, Babe!” in her MTV VMAs debut.

Camila Cabello

Camila Cabello returned to the VMAs stage for her third performance. This time, she serenaded the audience with heartfelt renditions of “Godspeed” and “June Gloom,” adding to her list of memorable VMA moments.

Karol G

Karol G brought Latin flavor to the VMAs with a powerful performance of her hit “Si Antes Te Hubiera Conocido.” After delivering an electric medley last year, the Colombian superstar once again captivated the crowd with her charisma and vocal prowess.


Lisa

Making her solo debut at the VMAs, Lisa of Blackpink fame took the stage after recently signing with Columbia Records. The K-pop star lit up the arena with her singles “New Woman” and “Rockstar,” proving she’s a force to be reckoned with as a solo artist.


Anitta

Brazil’s pop sensation Anitta delivered yet another high-energy performance. After wowing in previous years with “Girl From Rio” and “Envolver,” she returned with a medley of “Savage Funk,” “Alegria,” and “Paradise.”


Benson Boone

Benson Boone, the rising pop singer from Washington, made his VMAs debut with a heartfelt performance. He took the stage fresh off the release of his debut album, Fireworks & Rollerblades, marking a significant moment in his budding career.


Glorilla

After winning Best New Artist at the 2023 VMAs, Glorilla returned in 2024 with a confident performance of “Yeah Glo!” and “TGIF,” cementing her status as one of hip-hop’s hottest rising stars.


Rauw Alejandro

Latin pop sensation Rauw Alejandro treated fans to new music, delivering a captivating performance that showcased his smooth vocals and infectious rhythms.
