Olivia Rodrigo Lights Up SNL with “Vampire” and “All-American Bitch”

This week on Saturday Night Live, Olivia Rodrigo returned as the musical guest, delivering captivating performances. She graced the stage alongside host Adam Driver, showcasing two tracks from her Grammy-nominated album Guts. Rodrigo opened with a pared-down rendition of “Vampire,” playing the piano herself. She followed with “All-American Bitch,” where she transformed the stage into a whimsical tea party, only to dismantle it during her performance. Watch the performances below.

A Sketch and a Second Appearance

Rodrigo also showcased her acting chops in the sketch “Tiny Ass Bag,” adopting an accent to play the character Georgina, a fervent tiny bag enthusiast.

This appearance marked her second time on SNL, her first being in May 2021. During her debut, she performed “Drivers License” and “Good 4 U” from her album Sour. Olivia also performed on NPR’s Tiny Desk this week. Watch that here.

Guts and the Upcoming Tour

Following the success of Sour, Rodrigo released Guts in September. Earlier this year, Rodrigo announced a world tour starting in February 2024. The tour will feature opening acts like Chappell Roan, PinkPantheress, Remi Wolf, and the Breeders. The tour stops in Salt Lake City on July 31, 2024.

Rodrigo’s journey from a Disney Channel star in shows like “Bizaardvark” and “High School Musical: The Musical: The Series” to a global music sensation shows her versatility and talent.
