The big story yesterday was the Tanker rollover on I-15. A semi carrying hazardous materials overturned, spilling it’s extremely dangerous load across the freeway. Thankfully no one was seriously injured, which in itself is a miracle! But now we can add another miracle; a new baby.
If you knew about the rollover, you knew not to get on the freeway, but this couple was already on the freeway when the accident occurred. In labor, and desperately needing to get to the hospital, they dialed 911. It was clear they wouldn’t be getting to the hospital in time, so medics came to them. The South Jordan C Platoon arrived just in time and delivered a healthy baby. They were able to transport both mother and baby to the hospital in an ambulance. Both are doing well, congrats mom and dad! What a great story to tell that little one.
