Woman Hid From Cops in a Porta Potty
A woman wanted on identity theft charges has been arrested in Oregon after a construction worker lifted the lid of a portable toilet to find her hiding inside. 27-year-old Treasure Dawn Shockey, has two warrants out for her arrest, and when police tried to contact her, she ran. A witness told them she saw a woman run through her yard and climb a fence onto the property of the Eugene Swim and Tennis Club. About 20 minutes later, a construction worker told police he had lifted the lid of a port-a-potty and been surprised to see her inside. Police say Shockey left the toilet and they arrested her. Thieves Steal a Truck Full of Tofu in Portland
A delivery truck was stolen from a Safeway parking lot in Portland, the contents included tofu and organic drinks. Officers responded to the store when the driver of the truck called police. The driver says he went into the store for about 20 minutes, and when he returned outside, the healthy food delivery truck was missing. The truck was later found, empty, and witnesses reported seeing a man and woman leaving the truck. Authorities have no leads on the suspects, but wherever they are they have more tofu than anyone could possibly consume in a lifetime. Get more here.
