A former MIT Professor Robs a Bank and Says It’s an Art Project
A 61-year-old guy who used to be an MIT professor was arrested on Friday for a bank robbery. But he says he did it as an “Art Project”. He claims his art is all based around him doing illegal stuff, but a judge didn’t buy his excuse and set his bail at $50,000. Get the full story here.
Carjacker Tries to Sell Back a Vehicle He Stole For $50
Jereh Brown, 24, received a ride in the victim’s car from a friend of the owner Dec. 26 and he forced the woman out of the driver’s seat while the car was stopped. He then contacted her and offered to sell the 1998 Chevy Malibu back to her for $50. The woman arranged to meet with Brown and contacted police to accompany her to the chosen location.
